Typographic study
The letter as matter.
An experiment around the shapes that make up letterforms: serifs, curves, diagonals, thicks and thins are isolated, examined, then turned away from what they were made for.
These typographic fragments are then mixed and recomposed into a composition with rhythm and drive. The letter is no longer there only to be read: it becomes a graphic form in its own right.
A piece of research around movement, proportion and contrast, between typographic construction and contemporary composition.
